Timm Rohwer

Timm Rohwer received his Diploma and Ph.D. degree in physics from the Christian-Albrechts-University, Kiel, Germany, in 2008 and 2013, respectively. In 2006, he worked at the Institut-Laue-Langevin in Grenoble France. His Ph.D. thesis focused on the development of High-Harmonic Generation based Angle-Resolved Photo-Emission-Spectroscoy (HHG-ARPES). He was a postdoc in the Gedik group at M.I.T. from 2013-2017 where he combined ultrafast electron spectroscopy with ultrafast electron diffraction (UED). In 2018 he joined Prof. Franz X.
